I have been bumping the Angie Stone CD for a minute though. I must that overall it is a GREAT CD.
Sadly, I do not even listen to the song brotha. The song got SOOO MUCH play that I am sick of it.
I like fourth track on the album. (I cannot remember what it is though. I also like the track which was put down over the O'Jays' BackStabber music.)
I must say that it is good to hear some positive things about us coming from a sista. I'm kind of tired of hearing negative things about us (as I am about hearing the trash about women). What I am waiting for is a brotha to put together a song about our sisters. Is there an album currently out by someone that does this? (Being in the middle of nowwhere, I don't get to hear any of "our" music on the radio.)
I also like Faiths CD. I dig most of the tracks for beats. I like a few of them for the beats and the words though.
Is there anyone else who has heard Faith's CD?
