Beach Themed Recruitment... Help!

My chapter also wrote lyrics for Kappa Kabana several years ago. They're pretty similar to the ones already posted, but my advisor, who was a charter member of the chapter, sent them to me this year:

Its been forever since I did recruitment/rush but my chapter did a beach theme (Actually, the theme was around the world, our second party was beach themed). Instead of the Kappa Kabana theme, we had a "MTV Beach Party" for our skit... we had big inflatable rafts, beach balls, etc hanging on the walls and ceiling, grass skirts for table skirts, etc. We also had pictures of kappas together at the beach from spring break, summer trips, and such posted around the room.

For our skit.. since we had the MTV spring break style theme, we went with whatever current songs we could think up kappa words too. It probably helped that one of our sisters was absolutely improv-style hilarious and could seriously entertain a room, and we had a few amazing singers too.

We also had a reality-television style hula-hoop contest with potential members trying to out hula-hoop the chapter president. That was fun - I think it helped our house set the tone that we were not as "stuffy" as some of the other chapters.

I also remember making these cute little yellow suns for name tags. Beyond that, its been too long for me to offer what else we did..
