Office Gossip

Office rumor mill isn't too active, and generally it's work-related (who is leaving, who isn't happy, etc.). There isn't too much personal information that goes through, although once in a while the more gossipy people in the office will mention something.

My last office was the same way, but my college job was very much a rumor mill; everyone was trying to get involved in everyone else's personal lives. Very frustrating at times.

I'm in the marketing department. Part of our job is spreading the rumors.

Like sharing tales about BoogerFingers, the crass and ettiquette-challenged young man that sits down the hall. If you borrow his laptop, make sure to disinfect your entire body after the experience.

Seriously, we all call him BoogerFingers. You figure out why.

Every finance job I had involved spreading rumors about how your coworkers are gay or how someone got a job because they blew a managing director or something.
