Yes. The Jaclyn Dowaliby case happened in Midlothian, IL, which is right next to my hometown, back in 1988. Jaclyn was 7 when she disappeared; 4 days later she was found dead in Blue Island, IL. Her stepfather, David, was convicted, but was later freed by an appeals court. To this day, the crime remains unsolved.
