You should go to a doctor and get that checked out. I don't see how 36Cs could give you back problems... I would really get that checked out. Back problems are painful and can wind up being a big deal, and can bug you the rest of your life. I'm a 34D/36C depending on the store/brand, and they're really not THAT big that they should be giving you back problems.

Also, your clothes will look so much better over a regular bra that fits your outfit than over a sports bra!

I started noticing when I began taking martial arts. I thought it was just that I was not getting enough support during exercise. But then when I moved out and began working full-time, I noticed that I would get more lower back pain and discomfort. I compared sports bras vs. regular bras: bingo.

I used to be bigger in HS. Though I lost weight, I still remained pretty chesty. May not seem humongous- but nobody in the family saw it coming because I had a late puberty. So they do tease me about them.

Most regular bras just do not give me enough support. Underwires and thin straps do bug me. I do look like I have a uniboob with t-back sports bras, but with the ones from Sears that hook on the back I look normal.

I third the Wacoal suggestion. I think they run more expensive than Vicky's bras, but can't be sure. My mom and I swear by them!
