And if you threw a party
Invited everyone in town
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
"Thank you for being a friend"

(Ok, you know it's bad when you know the extended theme song lyrics )

TexGal - since "Panhel" isn't really a word, I have no idea if the proper spelling would be "Panhel" or "Panhell" so I agree with you!

The hyphen, however, does change things. Pan-Hellenic is the governing body for historically African-American sororities. Panhellenic, Panhell, Panhel (no hyphen) is for NPC sororities. Of course there aren't 14 historically African-American sororities so it was obvious what you meant anyway!

Another new colony

Over at the International Website DU just announced the revival of the Syracuse Chapter. DU was founded at Syracuse in 1873 went inactive in 1996 due to risk management issues.
Two very famous DU alumni are from Syracuse, Stephen Crane who wrote the Red Badge of Courage and Jim Boheim the very sucsessful Syracuse Basketball Head Coach

This was more non-sequitur then I've ever managed. Good job.

My aunt went to Spamalot in Chicago and said there were about 50 old biddys that got off a bus and went into the show. They left about halfway through. I guess they're still under the impression that musicals are always family fun for all.

I loved it when I saw it on Broadway. Absolutely hysterical. We got lucky and saw it when David Hyde Pierce and Tim Curry were still in it.
