Biggest Greek Schools?

Which colleges/universities have the most Panhell sororities? What are they? I did a search for a thread on this (because I thought I came across them earlier) but didn't find it... if there is one, can someone find it?

Penn State and the University of Illinois - Urbana-Champaign

AlphaFrog 06-15-2006 01:26 PM

See threads listed at the bottom of the page. (Ooh, I love that feature!!)

BTW, we are Panhellenic or NPCs. Panhell is what happens when your skillet is naughty.;)

Jess, I was waiting for you to get on that one, and you never fail to disappoint.

I think I'm just getting old and crabby. Too much Golden Girls...

SOPi_Jawbreaker 06-15-2006 01:30 PM

I think it might be Penn State. According to the website, there are 20 NPC sororities, and there are two other orgs (Phi Sigma Rho and Omega Phi Alpha) in Panhellenic coucil.

ALPHA CHI OMEGA
ALPHA DELTA PI
ALPHA OMICRON PI
ALPHA PHI
ALPHA SIGMA ALPHA
ALPHA XI DELTA
CHI OMEGA
DELTA DELTA DELTA
DELTA GAMMA
DELTA ZETA
GAMMA PHI BETA
KAPPA ALPHA THETA
KAPPA DELTA
KAPPA KAPPA GAMMA
PHI MU
PI BETA PHI
SIGMA DELTA TAU
SIGMA KAPPA
SIGMA SIGMA SIGMA
ZETA TAU ALPHA

Damnit, I guess I was a little slow on the reply.

tunatartare 06-15-2006 01:33 PM

Thank you for being a friend
Travel down the road and back again...

AlphaFrog 06-15-2006 01:35 PM

And if you threw a party
Invited everyone in town
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
"Thank you for being a friend"

(Ok, you know it's bad when you know the extended theme song lyrics:p :p )

It's the little white triangle w/ red outlining in the top right hand corner - "Report Bad Post." That sounds like it needs a spanking or something. Between that and the "hot threads" GC is getting kinky. (Or maybe my mind is just in the gutter)

Another new colony

Over at the International Website DU just announced the revival of the Syracuse Chapter. DU was founded at Syracuse in 1873 went inactive in 1996 due to risk management issues.
Two very famous DU alumni are from Syracuse, Stephen Crane who wrote the Red Badge of Courage and Jim Boheim the very sucsessful Syracuse Basketball Head Coach

This was more non-sequitur then I've ever managed. Good job.

My aunt went to Spamalot in Chicago and said there were about 50 old biddys that got off a bus and went into the show. They left about halfway through. I guess they're still under the impression that musicals are always family fun for all.

I loved it when I saw it on Broadway. Absolutely hysterical. We got lucky and saw it when David Hyde Pierce and Tim Curry were still in it.

Tim Curry is my absolute favorite character actor. He can go SOO over the top without being annoying like Jim Carrey.
