For those of you who take your laptops to class...

I'm not familiar with the Dell 1200, so i'm not sure how big it is.

I don't know that I have any recommendations, but I feel your pain. First year of law school, especially, all of us had huge backpacks with all of our books, and carried our laptops seperate. Always fun when we all were squeezing on the public transportation in the morning.... i'm still kicking myself for buying a bigger laptop thinking i'd like the bigger screen better.

Starting in second year, I just used a regular ole Jansport one. Those things can taking a beating!

If it really is too heavy, you could get a backpack on wheels. Nerdy, I know, but it can really save your back. I know a decent amount of people who had them.
