To throw a little political angle at the pinko commie lefty American-hating gay-loving Hollywood crowd of Democrats who are crying that 2005 ticket sales were down 10%:
The people bought 2005 tickets to:
1 - Star Wars III (will reach $1 bil) - one nomination for "make-up"
2 - Harry Potter (best of the series) - one nom. for "art director)
3 - Nardia - (another $1 bil) - three tech nominations
Hollywood doesn't make enough pictures people like, and don't give honors to the ones they do.
The Best Pix nominees have the lowest gross sales amount of all prev. Best Pix nominees.
Ticket Sales will improve when we get more pictures we like, and less crap like most of the nominees.
