That's really too bad that your Nominating Committee didn't look into the fact that you work so hard for your chapter and didn't give you what you wanted.
I came from a small chapter too (15 girls) and we had to overlook the probation clause too. However, we were working on a reduced officer structure which really helped. If you aren't already doing this ask your chapter advisor or area facilitator for a copy and see if you can implement it.
