- No situation is ever too serious to laugh. Even the most solumn ritual...something always goes awry, and life is too short to stress over it.

- How to respect the opinons of other sisters even if they conflict with my own and *gasp* maybe I can learn something from them (learned this one BIG TIME).

- how to combine tact and directness in speaking, to question but not offend, and to appologize and admit wrong when needed.
