Right on! That was a really fantastic story. I really appreciate your sharing it along with such great details. It sounds like you are on your way to a great experience and that the brothers of Sigma Chi have a lot to be proud of!

I KNEW IT!!!!!!!!

I had eliminated some based on what you said and they were the ones that I just had a feeling were your #1.

And the weird thing is, that was all based on the national rep that they have. Your description just sounded like them.

And yes, Derby Days my freshman year is one of my best memories of college........one of the contests was to "dress a Sig". Ours was hating life when it was determined that he would fit into one of my sister's formal dresses.

You have joined a great GLO.

Oh, and the beautiful house really is but it seems a bit out of place compared to the others.

Congratulations. Most of the Sigma Chis I've had the pleasure to know have been solid, respectable, fun-loving guys. May you make a lifetime of memories -- and remain an active and involved alumnus!

Thanks guys! I just got back from the party at the house, since it's been a long time since I've been socially active and I'm gradually working my way up to a full head of steam.

Tonight I knew more than ever that Sigma Chi is where I belong. My brothers (well I suppose to be full brothers after I get initiated ) were all happy to see me and chatted with me.

Not to get off track here, but I do have a slight etiquette question. Is it improper to wear fraternity gear while still a pledge? My intuition tells me I should wait until I become a full member before sporting the Sig Chi apparel, but I figured I'd ask anyway.

Just wanted to say congrats

As for your question, I know the only thing I was allowed to wear was Sigma Delta Tau written out in English on my pledge class shirt.
