I don't know about the "frat punch" your refering to. It's probably either really bad or they just want you to think that.

One of our fraternities throws a huge Buffalo Bash every year. They have this huge... vat of Hairy Buffalo (which consists of lots of stuff, liquor + fruit punch/juice basically). It could be something similar to that?
