There are quite a few album/movie combinations out there... like the Wall and Alice in Wonderland -or- Dark Side and Oz.

Besides the many Pink Floyd match-ups (believe me Floyd fans are a little weird that way) there is also the Radiohead Kid A/Nosferatu sync-up.
Some guy just off campus here runs a semi-private cinema/bar that screens album/movie links about twice a month - it's almost as much fun to watch the parade of "interesting" people attending as it is to watch
