Thanks -- my SN is my version of the phonetic pronunciation of my name in French -- my dad is French. I've used that SN for a LONG time. That's the only time I shorten my name.
People call me:
Janice (jaa-nis)
Jenice (jeh-niece)
Jennifer
Jenny
Jen
Jan
Genesis
My ex-boyfriend's little sister couldn't say my name, so she called me "Jennet" and when my brother was a baby, he couldn't figure out my name at all, so he called me "Sisu."
And my family calls me "J" for the most part. Sometimes "J Girl," sometimes "JC" and my mom calls me "Jacob" because my initials are JCB.
