ZTAngel, tell me about it. AEPi had been on my campus for some years when we brought AEPhi on... some folks just saw an A, an E, and a weird greek letter, and figured we were little sisters of AEPi, or dating AEPi's, or whatever.
Occasionally we also got confused with Alpha Phi, since Alpha Phi had been on my campus longer than any other sorority.
We had Kappa Sigma, Sigma Kappa, Phi Sigma Kappa, and Phi Kappa Sigma. The poor freshmen were so confused... you'd ask a freshwoman which sororities she was rushing, and she'd say, for instance, "ummm... Alpha Phi and Kappa Sigma?"
