I am assuming you are a first semester freshman. Before you depledge in hopes of getting into another group, you may want to check out the Greek system at your new school. At some schools with very competitive systems, being anything other than a first semester freshman can put you at a disadvantage. What school are you thinking of transferring to? That might help us out.
I know a lot of people are saying "once you are initiated you will always be a sister," but ladies, keep in mind the POV of someone who would get initiated, transfer, and then be on the outside looking in for 3 years. Yes Kappa is a wonderful group, but I'm sorry, that would suck. Especially if the campus is one with a lot of Greek involvement.
At any rate transfer to the school that has the best academic programs for you. That is the main thing you are in school for.
