MeezD,
Basically, it's wetting the brush to apply your shadow - gives it a "shinier" look.
Anyone use the vitamins for the skin or eye rever upper? I got it in a kit from qvc last time it was on. I think the skin vits are breaking me out, but maybe it's pulling impurities from the skin?

It could be the skin rever upper. It didn't work well for me either. If I recall correctly, it has either salicylic acid or glycolic acid in it, which could irritate your skin, particularly if you're using any sort of other products containing retinols or additionaly salicylic or glycolic. I have to avoid products containing those ingredients since I use a night treatment with retinol in it.

hmmmm. . . thanks. I'm using Cetaphil (facial wash and moisturizer) and am not sure what ingredients are in that - I'll have to go check.

Oh, Cetaphil probably doesn't have any of that in it. You may just be sensitive to the ingredient.

I just got the Natural Light with Well-Lit and Back-Lit, and I was SHOCKED how well it worked. The Back-Lit especially; I put it under my eyes and down the side of my nose to the edge of my mouth. I don't really have wrinkles, but somehow it just makes my face look brighter and smoother. It also works nicely as an eye shadow for the crease part. The Well-Lit I also use as eye shadow and it really brightens my eyes. Highly recommended!

Natural Light really is an overlooked product. Although the instructions say to use it as the last step in your routine, but I've ignored that too. I've mixed the two shades together to buff under my foundation and I've also tapped a bit of it into my lid with my foundation. This might work best if you're a lighter foundation shade, but these seem to help on those days when my skin really needs a pick-me-up.

I bought the "Get Started" kit tonight @ Sephora. I've used up a BM sample and it was time to buy some more. I really loved the sample this summer, it was a tad too dark for me normally but worked ok while I was tanner than normal. I'm excited to start using the kit!

I just bought the "Get Started" kit at our new Ulta and so far, I LOVE it! It is by far better than any other makeup I have ever tried. I had the fight a woman for the last one in the lightest shade and it was SO worth it!

Has anyone experienced breakouts due to using Bare Minerals? About a month ago, I started wearing the foundation and Mineral Veil almost daily, with the primer underneath. I wash my face daily nightly. But I've still noticed a ton of little pimples all over my face - mostly on my forehead. I've used Lush Tea Tree Water toner for a year, and Olay face wash forever. Could anything in BM be causing the breakouts?

I've experienced the complete opposite. I think that Bare Minerals have made my face a lot clearer than it was when I used my old makeup.

Well there is no product out there that someone somewhere will nto have an allergy to or some kind of adverse effect. My experience is the make up itself would be unlikely to cause your breakouts, BUT the primer might be. I would stop using the primer and see how that works. To help with shine without the primer, use a light dusting of mineral veil before applying the foundation and what not like you normally would. See if that helps you.

Soror, when I first started using BE, I had breakouts, but was determined to keep using it. The breakouts stopped after about a week or two. You might have to do a process of elimination to see what the cause is. It's possible that it could be part of your facial care regime combined with the BE. Just like someone else just said, it seems as though the BE improved my skin some.
