I doubt AI would be an option for someone who is still an undergrad under most circumstances.
She might want to think about going through formal recruitment as a way of gathering more information about the sororities represented there. If she gets a bid, great. If not, she's learned more about those particular sororities and has gotten to know members who might help smooth the path to AI down the road.
