My 2 cents on this whole thing:
While I do think it's pretty pathetic that people keep live journals about GC and the people on the board, I do share sandy's thought that if someone wants to run off GC then let them. I'm a prime example of how someone can take a bunch of ridicule, get banned, get banned again, and then get banned again and then still stick around and actually post.
People have tried to dicredit me, called a liar, fake, pyscho, racist, bald and everything else you can imagine and then do it all over again several times. Hell, some people have even sent an email about me to a whole sorority and managed to find a pissed off ex of mine.
That backfired and only proved that I wasn't a liar about being involved with chicks from that GLO....but thats another can of worms. My point is, if I can go through all that crap and still stay here, post and then talk about it all in a laughing manner.....that says a lot about characters like mine as opposed to characters of others who got so offended that they left. Nobody is ran off from this site, people choose to leave. If there were a sure way to rid this site of people, I'da been long gone as would dionysus. However, I do think it's wrong that you post up someone's personal pics and their information. Most of you here claim to love your GLO and represent it's ideals/beliefs. Its common courtesy and decency not to do something like that/on that level even if the other person isnt a nice person in your view.
As far as the witch hunt goes, if you stick around here long enough....and you're a controversial character.....it'll happen to you sooner or later. I was a controversial character because I spoke my mind, sometimes too much, and I wasnt in a clique. As a consequence I was burned at the stake, so to say, many times. I had a few cheerleaders but even they started taking heat from a few groups of the panties-wadded-up sorority and have since stopped posting here. I'm not saying there arent people here who "attack" others. There are. But why bother with them? Those people are just making up for what they lack in their life. And truthfully, I think it's because they feel inferrior outside the internet.
I'm too tired to keep typing...i might add more tommorrow in an edit.
