Having been someone who transferred from UVic to Calgary at the end of my 3 yr (loan probs), to be able to graduate from U of C, I had to take at least half of my courses from U of C, so I ended up losing a year (I know sucky - but then I changed my major too to history - 2 years of papers!).

If you have completed more than half your classes @ Guelph, then you should be able to take a 'visiting year' at U of T. Check with an academic adviser - and get their recommendation in writing in case there are issues down the road with graduating (a hard lesson my girlfriend learned)!

Good luck!!!
