I agree and disagree. There are a lot of songs that I LOVE the beat to, but are "nasty" or "vulgar". I just make sure I lsten to them when my daughter is NOT around. But there are some songs that I liked the beat to, THEN I listened to the lyrics one day, and could not listen to it anymore, because they were over the top. I think you just have to exercise your personal preference right here and pick and choose.
Try some other genres too, all music that's good isn't full of explicit stuff.
