Slow Motion
"She's working that back, slow motion . . . "
Please tell me who sings this song. I'm driving my niece to day care this morning and we are both listening to the radio like what did he just say. |
LOL!!! It's by Juvenile
|
I am soooo feeling this song right now. :D
|

i have slow motion as a real-voice ringtone. people look at me like i'm crazy when they hear "uuuuuuuuuugh. ah lak-it lah that..." coming from my purse. :o |

ROFLMAO Yeah I like the song too in spite of  |
i'm surprised as hell - - - - the lyrics were about a guy that would not sleep with the girl when her period was on, oral sex and on and on and on - - - i was embarassed just listening to it and had no idea what to say to my niece. radio and tv are getting out of hand.
i hate to seem like an old head (ha ha ha) but this song should be banned. i'm surprised that educated women like the folk on GC like this music - - - to me, if you like this then you may as well support being called a bitch or nigger. |

Why would they support a song calling them that when "Slow Motion" is about sex? |

I think alot of it is tied to the beat. At least for me it is. I love Splash Waterfalls (edited version, of course). But, moreso because the beat is just nice! |

Music isn't just lyrics. |
Perhaps the song does have a nice beat - that is not the issue for me - i'm concerned about the lyrics.
i'm tending to think that the 20-30 year old folk don't have problems with explicit lyrics. on the other hand, i find much of rap and especially the lyrics to slow motion to be in poor taste. of course, i'm older than most folk on GC and have little tolerance for a number of things. Quote:

However, if I'm in a club setting, it's different. It's party time. I'm just trying to catch the beat. But, as an adult, it's my perogative. Time and place...time and place. |
I'm not a fan of the song either, but to each his or her own....
Professor,
Just wait until the end of July when the refreshing sounds of Stevie Wonder hits the radio...or will it? |
It's not some new phenomenon.
