Woman drowns boyfriend´s dog because she was jealous of it

I remember a year or so in England a woman apparently told her friend that she had MICROWAVED a kitten.

Her friend was horrified and the RSPCA (animal protection charity) was told.

The woman who claimed she was depressed at the time, got three months in jail as a result if I recall correctly.

I hate stories like this.
