Vanda, you have said it best--who and why would someone even put a show based on this premise on television?

I agree, they are setting these women up to end up right back where they started--w/ low self-esteem

simply b/c they failed to make it to the beauty pagent...this sends a horrible HORRIBLE message to these women...That no matter how much surgery you get, make-up you have on, hair coloring, etc. etc.--you still are not good enough. I beleive that all these women need therapy. Our young girls are watching this type of crap on tv, and they take in these messages (which is why we end up w/ folks who barely look legal on shows like "I want a Famous Face"). It's really sad...

Yeah, that's jacked up.

Your mate is supposed to think you are the most beautiful (or handsome) woman (or man) in this world. If they don't, then you are obviously w/ the wrong person.
