I think beyond the rep you need to know what you would be looking at from a system perspective of joining a house that is so very size deficient as compared to other larger house. It is challenging and often frustrating being part of the smallest house --formal rush is really hard and you work just as hard as the other groups without the same results (rarely pledge quota). It is difficult to get homecoming and other popular events with the "top" fraternities. Often you must live in the house more years than other chapters because the bigger houses has more girls to fill spots.

Now the good side: often it is a more "real" house who selects you for you and not because you would be a good "face girl" for the house. There are a lot of leadership opportunities and given the right training you can be instrumental in turning your chapter in the upwards direction.

I don't want to sway you either way but when you are rushing sometimes you don't know the whole story of joining a small group. I did it and would never regret it for a minute.

Good luck!
