Common misconceptions people have about you

1. they think i am a spoiled lil rich girl because my house and car , college and all furnishings were pretty much paid for by my grandparents before, during and after marriage but in fact that they come to find out i am the most unspoiled person ever and i give thanks for the blessings i have on a daily basis.

2. People assume that b/c I am live in a VERY small country town that I am a stupid redneck. (People also assume that I am still in this town b/c I cannot leave. -- I left and came back. I choose to stay b/c I have seen what is out there and like the small town atmosphere better...)

3. People assume that I am under 18 when I have my hair pulled back in a ponytail. (I am 25...) I get ID'd at rated R movies all of the time...

4. People assume that I "got knocked up" since I have been told by my doc to stop wearing jewelry/wedding ring. I actually had a woman hand me a bible pamphlet the other day on campus b/c she thought I was an "unmarried sinner..." I feel like wearing a big sign that says, "Stop staring... I am married, but I can't wear my ring right now!!!" Of course, I am sure this doesn't happen outside of the "Bible Belt..."
