Not so sure anymore, but when I was growing up, most references to Milledgeville were tongue-in-check because that's where (at least one) state mental health facility is.

That I knew, when I was young my mother used to threaten to send me there if I was bad. It took me awhile to realized I lived in AZ not GA.

I have been trying to call the school about this but no one has been able to help me (at the alumni affairs)
