Yeah, the No Child Left Behind Act is stupid. For those who don't know, if a Hispanic child comes in the day of the test speaking NO English, he/she will be expected to take the same test as the native speakers of English. The Special Education students are expected to take the same exam as everyone else does. Then, when schools do not do well in such areas, the school is considered "failing."

Schools are expected to make sweeping changes w/o any additional funding from the national gov. ARRRRRRGGGGHHHH as a student teacher, this topic sets me (and the entire education dept. at my school) completely off!
