State of the Union
 

I am excited to hear the State of the Union address tonight. I will be watching on Fox b/c as we all saw last year, they were the only ones respectable enough to not talk over President Bush's speech. While the Daily show is a good one to tivo, It isn't the best to watch at first, b/c it makes light of everything. Better for later that night...

I will definitely tune in. It will be interesting to see what hannity and colmes say about the address, they will explore both sides of of it im sure. its good to hear both sides.

Don't do it! If you follow the rules to a "T", you'll be brain dead before he ends the speech by saying, "God bless the United States of America!"

I think that's where the whole "passing out as a defense mechanism" thing comes into play. ;)

I'm telling you, don't play that game. Nothing but bad news. ;)

I couldn't find the rum anyway. :( So Kath and I are going to play with shots of water because we are that cool.

Why do they let all the networks cover it? Can't they sell exclusive rights to one major network, and lower taxes in return?

Did anyone catch the following?

1) The Democrats cheered when Bush said the key provisions of the Patriot Act were going to expire... did ya see the look on his face:)

2) The Republican who was reading a book the entire time... He only put the book down when he needed to stand up. I watched him do this twice.

Oh my lord...I'm feeling sick...now I know why I'm a Democrat..

He just finished w/the "No Child Left Behind" Act (which is a bunch of bullbutter..:mad: :mad: :mad: )and is working on the "Sancity of Marriage" deal...oye..

What happened to the going to the moon stuff? Did that backfire too much so he gave up?

That was the best part of the whole deal! ;)
