Here's one: if a bird finds one/some of your hairs & uses it to help make their nest, you'll loose your mind (weaves don't count).

My mother definately believes in that one!! She burns her hair to this day! Hair is also one of the prime ingredients that folks use to put 'roots' on you, so you know folks was careful with their hair, finger/toe nail clippings, etc.
