You've got recreational surfers like me and then you have professional surfers like Sunny, Myles, Danny, and the rest of the people on Boarding House. A person turns pro once they're picked up by a sponsor. Billabong, Quiksilver, Roxy, Da Hui, Vans...they're all a bunch of companies that sponsor surfers.
A bunch of them also have beach houses on the North Shore, and many of the pros stay there when they're in town. And they also throw phat parties there. Especially the Roxy House at Sunset Beach. Their parties are the best.
