I too voted for Gore. When asked the question of who I was voting for prior to election time, I said consistently "Gore, the lesser of the two evils!" I feel that Bush is as dumb as a rock and is simply a poster boy for the GOP.

MN, you have some very relevant points and it truly saddens me that as blacks we're often prostituted around election time on issues that are close to our hearts. Not surprisingly, we're really an under valued and neglected whore for the remainder of the term.

With that reality, I don't feel that I necessarily toted the party line. I cast my one lone brown penny for the one that is aligned with my concerns. (Well, as close as possible anyway)
