Rapper Jay-Z has commented on the various rumors floating around about his relationship with Destiny's Child lead singer, Beyonce Knowles.
The rapper squashed rumors that they were on the verge of getting married.
"I used to see her all the time. We are not engaged by the way. We're just cool. We're just friends," Jigga told Playboy in the April issue.
"We don't really, ah, know each other like that. Me and [Memphis] Bleek, we're tighter. He's been with me since 1994. Between Beyonce and him? Beyonce's got to go," he continued.
Jay-Z went on to say that he was attempting to better his life and be a "decent citizen."
"I'm representing for the whole culture. A lot of people look at me like they looked at Martin Luther King Jr.," he said. "I'm not a saint--I did bad things. I f*cked up. I try not to do bad things anymore."
He continued in the interview, saying he was attempting to mature and grow now that he is wealthy.
"I'm trying to get grown up and not talk about figures anymore. I'm learning that the big cats don't talk about money, only us ignorant rappers."
