It's rush right now at MSU and we give a little speech about the benefits of being a member of Sigma Alpha at each info session. Heres a little of what we state...
- Common interest, values, and standards upon which your organization was founded.
- Sisterhood, meeting new people and networking with actives as well as alumni.
- Leadership development, we compare our chapter to a small business with the budget, keeping a house, and reaching goals.
- Career development, internships and job posting passed on from sister to sister.
- Classes, rarely do I have a class without a sister in it. This is great for studying as well as to keep up in class with notes and attendance.
- Lasting friendships and memories
- Last and as a joke, we have to learn how to cook, this has been the biggest challenge for me, no house chef for the gamma chapter *sigh*
