Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy
I too was very pleased with the movie. I actually wouldn't mind seeing it again. I thought I had it all figured out from the previews but it was deeper than I expected.
I can't wait to see the other black movies they showed during the previews. I'm so happy that "we" are making movies with more depth and focusing on the positive aspects of the black experience.
I was in awe throughout the preview of Drumline. I attend a predominantly white university and I feel like I've missed out on the black college experience. If I could do it all over I would be at somebody's HBCU.
