No. When Delta Gamma is in the last stage of a potential closing, Council sets a 60 day period when members can write to Council stating opposition to or support of the closing. The chapter is still open during this time. At the end of that period, Council reviews the correspondence and votes. Only then is a date set to close the chapter.
