Stuff to do during 1 weekend in Tuscaloosa?

Hey everyone,

I've just been invited to present at a weekend conference in Tuscaloosa this March. Since Bama is such a Greek powerhouse, I thought this might be the best place to ask: given the short time I'll be in the area, what places would you recommend I visit in order to make the most of the weekend? Shopping, restaurants, bars? In particular, I'm a fan of bargain/resale shopping (TJs, Nordstrom Rack, Loehmann's, Neiman's Last Call, even Plato's Closet if it's in a good neighborhood with nice cast-offs) and I'm sure a lot of us presenters will want to hit the restaurants/bars (it's a regional conference and will probably attract a lot of grad students). I'm not sure if I'll be driving or flying as of yet--depends on if others from my grad program are invited to present as well.

Thanks!
