Email is NOT perfect. Give the Greek Office a break. You don't know if your email got lost in the World Wide Interwebs or was accidentally deleted. Maybe they are just swamped with handling issues and informal rush & you are not the squeakiest wheel right now.

Go back again in person, be nice, don't complain and be sure that you understand what they tell you is going on.
