It sounds like you had a very good chance at pledging DST until you claimed on the internet that you have a 100% chance of getting in. No sorority likes this type of attitude in nonmembers and you may have just cost yourself your chance by your lack of discretion.
This is so ridiculous that I would bet it's someone trying to make her look like an idiot and sink her chances.
