Yes, James, I like him. We have been close friends for a little over five years. But I don't "like him like him" as my middle schoolers say. I know him too well for that.

He has not yet broken up with her. He actually asked me if I thought that lying to the ex, saying he had broken up, and then seeing her as much as possible before she found out was a good idea. I rolled my eyes and finished my ice cream.

I told him that he reminds me too much of a Dawson's Creek episode. I'm just glad that the drama is his and not mine.
