WOW!! Why am I just seeing this thread?! Thank you much for thinking of us.
People don't understand how difficult it is to force feed information to students who just DON'T WANT IT!
But those few who actually
DO want it, makes me feel so much more encouraged to take on a position like this.
I taught middle school choir for three years, and quit in 2010 to work on
MORE graduate studies.
But I found myself missing it, strangely enough, ... considering how much I abhorred it at the time.
Now, however, just this week, I have accepted another job offer as Music Teacher/Choral Director for a local school district, and I couldn't be more excited to get started.
