The end of last year I was laid off my job due to the events of Sept 11 and most companies thinking that a recession was in the works.
Since then I have gotten a new job. But the past couple of weeks slowly people at my current job have disappeared one by one. Just today 4 people have been let go!!This to me is ridiculous. I work for a branch of the federal government and it doesn't seem imaginable to me.So I have since found another job. But the other people left working here are only wondering when they will get that call saying their time is up!
Has job stability become a thing of the past?
