I will be giving my father a call tomorrow. He served in Vietnam. He got his draft notice on Christmas Eve of the year he and my mother got married. But he didn't shirk his responsibility - he did his part and saved a lot of lives during his service with the Army Medical Corps.

My thanks to all who serve, and who have served, in the armed forces of this nation - and especially to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
