As for facebook, I update my status about every six months. Maybe. It's great as a way to connect with family and old friends you haven't seen in a long time, but I spend maybe an hour a month on it. The constant status updates can border on inane, and I refuse to "like" anything or join anybody in a facebook cause.
I gave twittter a try for a month or so and then deleted my account. I couldn't get into it. However, facebook is helpful for me as a sorority national officer.
