Hey everyone! I had an amazing day today, and I am so excited for Bid day tomorrow. (im just praying I dont get one of those awful phonecalls!)
Tonight was preferentials. I got invited back to:
fish
fox
bird
I went into this round very worried that the only house I could fit into was fish. I knew I liked fox and bird, but I wasnt sure. Each of the preferential ceremonies was absolutely beautiful in its own way. I felt like all of these girls in each of the houses truely cared about me, and right now I can honestly say, that I would be proud to call any of them my sister, and happy to call any of these houses my home. I felt a different connection at each house. One made me laugh, one made me cry, and one made me reminisce on old times while getting excited for times to come. I can truly say that I have gone through this process with an open mind, and I have been nothing but true to who I am, and I know that no matter who is on my bid card tomorrow, i cant lose. While I do have my favorite house, and my rankings do reflect how I feel, I can see myself as an asset to each of these chapters, and I would love to call any of these girls my sisters. I honestly had an amazing night. I cannot wait until tomorrow because right now, I refuse to even think about the possibility of getting "the call". I will make sure to keep all of you updated on where I end up, and I hope you all truely know how much I appreciate your support. It has brightened my spirits during such a long process. I cant believe that tomorrow, I will be a part of a sorority, and more than that, a sisterhood. I cannot wait.
