Actually those dues were done away with, and we amended the bylaws saying that once you join Gamma Sigma Sigma, you are automatically a lifetime member. So you don't have to pay extra fees or anything from now on.
I like it and then I don't like it. Not every sister will really be in service to the sorority for a lifetime-some view it as "something I did in college". When members take that initiative to pay lifetime fees, that's speaks a little better to me. I would like to see a lifetime member pin designed for those who want one. But since the rules changed, having things like a section @ Convention, we couldn't do that. Everybody would be in that section
