I was wondering whether or not it's a record.
I kind of think there MIGHT be a few guys pledge classes that were bigger (namely FSU Pike), but it might be the biggest pledge classes for a sorority ever. Arkansas and Ole Miss already vied for largest sorority chapters (and, if I'm not mistaken fraternity chapters) in terms of numbers, but this is unbelievable. Someone earlier told me a quota of 92, but I have no idea how quota works. Is it possible that that one special house still brought in 50 some? Would that affect it?
And this problem will be fixed as soon as a national sorority steps up and builds a house. I'm praying for Phi Mu/DG/Theta, but who knows.

Overall, though, it's the bigness of the car that counts the most. Because when something bad happens in a really big car – accidentally speeding through the middle of a gang of unruly young people who have been taunting you in a drive-in restaurant, for instance – it happens very far away – way out at the end of your fenders. It's like a civil war in Africa; you know, it doesn't really concern you too much. - P.J. O'Rourke
