good for you for raising your gpa!! have you gotten involved with some campus orgs. and activities? the sororities will expect that you have done so.
i can't comment specifically on ku recruitment, as i am not familiar with it, but generally speaking, with a 3.5 , rushing as a sophomore, with one or two campus activities, having a good reputation, being sociable & friendly, being interested in what the sisters have to say, having recommendations to each chapter at ku, knowing members of each house and putting your best foot forward, you would maximize your chances.
why not give it a try? you have nothing to lose-well, maybe the enrollment fee-and everything to gain.
