I never regretted my decision, but rather, I would start to think, "What if I had put Alpha Phi 1 and DG 2?" Alpha Phi and DG were neighbors at my school, and while girls got along and had friends in each chapter, as a whole, DG and Alpha Phi were perceived as very different. I realized, before I ranked, that I only really loved Alpha Phi for one specific woman; DG, I was drawn to so many different women. I am glad I chose DG - the Alpha Phi woman I so admired dropped a semester later.
I loved my collegiate years and have DG to thank for that. I've only been out of school less than 5 years, but I've gotten active in the area as an alumna. Delta Gamma has given me so much more than I ever would have thought I could get from an organization made up of women my age. I have seen and know how DG works, from the very top women on our Cabinet to the new members joining my collegiate chapter and the chapters I advise at. I am so proud to be apart of an organization that is bigger than I could ever dream, but that can also give me a home on a huge campus.
